Who we are
This website is run by Cubeworks Technology Consulting and Solutions (Cubeworks), Inc. ("Cubeworks", "we"), Door 7, Ellen's Building, Jasmin Street, Capitol Site, Cebu City, Philippines. We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission.
What we collect
- When you use our contact form: your name, email address, phone number, company, the topic you select and your message. Name, email and message are required; phone and company are optional. The form email we receive also includes your IP address and the time you sent the form.
- When you email us at [email protected]: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Website analytics, only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner: Google Analytics cookies record how the site is used, such as pages visited, time on page, the type of device and browser, approximate location (country or city) and how you reached the site. If you click "Reject", Google Analytics is not loaded.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not include it in your message.
Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and follow up on the request you made.
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the website so we can improve it (only with your consent).
We do not sell your personal data.
Who may receive it
- The Cubeworks team that handles inquiries sent to [email protected].
- Service providers that run this website and our email and analytics for us, such as Google (email and Google Analytics) and Cloudflare (website delivery and security). Some of these providers may process data outside the Philippines. We have data-protection terms in place with Google and Cloudflare.
- Government authorities, only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Website inquiries are kept for 1 year. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. To prevent spam, we keep a scrambled copy of your IP address for about an hour.
Cookies
Google Analytics cookies are set only after you click "Accept". You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the website footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Videos and podcasts embedded on some pages (YouTube and Spotify) are provided by those services and may set their own cookies when they load or play. The map on the Contact page is from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies.
How we protect it
Only staff who handle inquiries can see them. The site uses encrypted connections and Cloudflare's security protections.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to object to its processing, to have it corrected, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, to be indemnified for damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (https://privacy.gov.ph).
